Reading your dashboard metrics
Online status, fill, uptime, refund rate, reliability score — what each one means.
The numbers that matter, in order of how often you should glance at them.
Heartbeat & online status
Your TV's Screen Player sends a heartbeat about once a minute. While it arrives, the screen's card on /my-screens shows LIVE; otherwise it says when the TV was last seen. If a paid ad is due this hour and the TV has been silent for 5 minutes, a Screen offline alert appears at the top of the page — fix it now: plays the TV misses are refunded to the advertiser, out of your share, and they count against your reliability.
Fill, 7 days
On each screen's card and page: the share of your open hours in the last 7 days that have a paid booking in them. Low fill means empty hours — a lower price, or cheaper quiet hours in your surge grid, can help.
Uptime
Hours with at least one heartbeat ÷ your open hours, over the last 30 days — counting only the days the screen existed, each day with its own hours, closed days left out. A screen isn't graded until it's 7 days old. 95%+ is healthy.
Refund rate
Refunded ÷ paid, for bookings on the screen in the last 30 days. Under 2% is healthy. Most refunds come from plays the TV missed while it was offline — fixing your device's network connectivity is usually the answer.
Reliability score (0–100)
Weighted combination of uptime (40%), plays delivered — the share of the plays your TV reported that ran inside the hour they were booked for (30%), refund rate, inverted (20%), and how quickly you approve bookings (10%). Recomputed every hour.
Advertisers see it as a badge on /discover only when ≥20 screens are within a mile of yours — sparse markets show no score because there's nothing to compare against. It isn't shown on your dashboard.
When a number slips
Every night each screen's numbers are checked against three levels:
| Level | Uptime below | Refunds above | Or |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nudge | 95% | 2% | median approval time over 12 h |
| Slipping | 90% | 5% | median approval time over 24 h |
| Looks off | 50% | 15% | no heartbeat for 14 days |
A banner on your screens home, and a notification, name the number that slipped. None of these levels hides your screen or stops anyone booking it — you decide when your screen is available. When a screen looks off, the notice says how many plays are booked on it: if the TV won't be showing RedSquare (switched off, or on another app), pause the screen or mark those days closed. Plays that don't happen are refunded to the advertiser automatically and aren't paid to you. The notice clears on its own once the numbers are back in range.
Where to drill in
/my-screens— the month calendar: what's booked, day by day, every screen at once; press a day to see its ads.- The Needs you strip on
/my-screens— bookings waiting on your decision (manual mode); each screen's page lists its finished and cancelled ads. /my-screens/earnings— your share by week, month, screen and booking, every refund on your screens, and a Dispute button on a refund's row for 7 days if you think it was wrong./my-screens/:id/report— proof of play: plays bought / played / missed per booking, the hours the TV went quiet, and what was refunded for missed plays.
