About RedSquare
RedSquare is a marketplace for the screens in local businesses. A bar, barbershop, restaurant or gym sells ad time on the TV it already runs, and local advertisers book plays on it.
What RedSquare is
A screen owner installs the free Screen Player on the screen they already have, pairs it with their account, and sets a price per 10-second play and the hours it takes bookings. They keep 80% of the screen-time price and RedSquare's fee is 20%. Card processing is paid by the advertiser as its own line, so the owner's 80% is a true 80%.
An advertiser finds a screen on the map, uploads an image, GIF or video, picks the hours and how many plays, and pays per play once paid ad time opens. While we grow the network every booking is free; paid ad time opens once the network reaches 50 live screens and payments are set up. Every ad is moderated before it can play, plays are counted from the screen's own reports, and plays that do not run are refunded automatically.
There is no hardware to buy and no subscription. The RedSquare app works on the web, and the download page shows which phones, TVs and computers can install the app and the Screen Player today.
Who it is for
Local businesses with a screen on the wall: bars, restaurants, barbershops, gyms and anywhere else a TV is already on for customers.
Local businesses that want to reach the people nearby, on a screen they chose, without a media contract.
One account does both. Every account has an advertiser dashboard and a screen-owner dashboard, with a toggle to switch.
Who makes it
