Understanding Your Campaign Results
What your campaign page shows: the plays that ran, when they ran, what you paid and any refunds
Learn how to read your campaign's page and judge whether a screen is working for you.
Where to Find Your Results
- Open My campaigns — it's your dashboard (
/dashboard) - Click a campaign to open its page. Every notification about a booking links there too
Key Numbers Explained
Plays That Ran
Definition: How many of the plays you bought have run — for example "8 of 10 plays ran"
How it's counted: A play is your whole ad, start to finish, logged by the TV itself. A play that starts outside your hours isn't counted or charged
Why it matters: It's what you paid for. Plays that don't run are refunded automatically when the booking ends
When It Played
Definition: The hours your plays ran in, marked on each day's hour bar, from the TV's own reports
Why it matters: Shows your ad ran in the hours you picked
What You Paid
Definition: Screen time, any promo code, the processing line (PayPal's or the card's) and the total — plus a line for each refund, and what you paid net
Why it matters: The exact cost of the campaign, straight from the payment records
Cost Per Play
Definition: What one play cost you. The page doesn't show it; work it out to compare screens
Formula: Screen time paid / Plays that ran
Campaign Page Sections
Status
- Paid → Approved → Airs → Done, with the step you're on
- A rejection says which it was — the ad review, or the venue — and the reason
Where It Plays
- The venue, its address and opening hours
- Your booked hours and the venue's house rules
- Whether the TV is on now, or when it was last seen
What We Don't Measure
RedSquare counts plays, not people. It doesn't know how many people saw your ad, how long they looked, or whether they scanned the QR code in it. To measure response, put something trackable in the ad — a QR code to a link only this ad uses, or an offer code — and count the results yourself.
Optimization Tips

- Choose screens in busy places

Improve Response
- Include clear call-to-action
- Use QR codes (scannable barcodes) so viewers can take action with their phone
- Offer incentives (discounts, freebies)
Keep a Record
- Press Receipt (PDF) on the campaign page for a receipt you can keep
- You also get a receipt email when a booking is paid, and a summary when it finishes
